Camping is prohibited in trailhead parking lots. Around Beech Bottom and Jacks River Falls, camping is restricted to designated sites and allowed only from November 1 through March 31. From April 1 through October 31 it is day use only in that area. Group size is limited in the wilderness; confirm the current limit with the ranger district before planning a large trip. Leave no trace throughout. Campfires and alcohol are banned year round in the Beech Bottom and Jacks River Falls area. A map of the closure area is posted at the trailheads.
